On our last day in California, my boyfriend and I decided to have a beach day! Here’s the final vlog from our trip!
First, we headed to Huntington Beach for a few hours. This beach is known for its awesome surf waves – the city is even nicknamed “Surf City”. We enjoyed the sun, had a shave ice and checked out the pier!
Afterwards, we headed to Venice Beach! We walked along the boardwalk and checked out Muscle Beach and the basketball courts nearby, and watch a dance crew perform on the boardwalk! I loved all the art along the boardwalk as well as the music and various little shops and vendors.
We had an amazing last day in LA! After exploring Venice Beach, we headed straight to the airport to catch our flight back to Montreal. Check out my posts on our day at Universal Studios, our day at Dodgers Stadium and our day at Disneyland if you want to see what else we got up to while we were in LA!

October 30, 2016 at 22:50Nooo, we weren’t there for that long & I’ve never surfed, so we didn’t think it was the right time for me to try haha! But it’s definitely on my bucket list for next time 🙂

October 26, 2016 at 13:36Glad to hear you had a blast! Looks like you guys had the place pretty much all to yourself. The last time we went the boardwalk was PACKED! The clear blue skies and sunnies make me miss summer so badly 😛

October 26, 2016 at 13:52I lived between Huntington Beach and Redondo Beach for a short time, and that is a beautiful part of the world. Venice Beach is something to see…once.

October 26, 2016 at 14:36I’ll be in California in November, but not sure if the weather will be good enough to visit beaches…

October 26, 2016 at 22:46I visited both beaches when I was in LA as well. It was very crowded when I was there. I would go back, though. Looks like you guys had better luck with missing the crowd.

October 27, 2016 at 00:56I’ve never been to Huntington Beach, but I heard it is one of the nicest in the LA area. That’s why I’m surprised that there seem to be so few people there! I love the art along Venice Beach too. The Starry Night mural is one of my favorites!

October 30, 2016 at 22:54We went to Huntington Beach on a week day, so I’m assuming that’s why it wasn’t toooo crowded? And I think maybe we just got a bit lucky haha 😉 But yes, it was beautifullll!

October 27, 2016 at 07:00I just got back from the Seychelles so I still have the beach wanderlust. I’ve never been to the US but I’ve heard beaches are amazing in California. My friend just went to LA about a week ago and been telling me it’s amazing. The pics look amazing. Thanks for sharing.

October 29, 2016 at 08:29The beach looks amazing. Your dress is really cute as well. You seem really confident in your vlog as well, I’m too awkward for vlogging lol
